Biography – Norm Sparks
As the Principal Optometrist at Sparks & Feros, Norm is a graduate of the UNSW school of Optometry and has been in practice since 1984. He has been a part of, and has also seen many changes in the development of modern professional eye care. He attends regular continuing education events to ensure that his patients receive up to date best practice in eye care. Norm’s areas of interest include retinal imaging for checks for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, contact lens fitting and Industrial Optometry. He has completed the Ocular Therapeutics Course in 1993 run by the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
To raise awareness for the need of “eye protection at work”, works as a Eye Safety Advisor to the industry. Norm Sparks is a board-certified optometrist and a member in good standing of Optometrists Association of Australia.
