Monsieur Louis Lafont opened a small spectacle boutique on Rue Vignon in Paris’ Madeleine district in the Autumn of 1923.

By the end of the 1970’s Philippe La Font, Louis’s grandson, with his wife Lauren, had started to work with major fashion houses Hermes and Chanel to create a new range eyewear which were soon to become highly sort after fashion accessories.

Today the company is run by a fourth Lafont generation. They continue to make frames and sunglasses with a focus on cutting edge materials technology, functionality while still respecting craftsmanship and that intangible French fashion flair!
